AP Practice Test 2

APE Students! 
The second of the two practice tests dates for the AP exam will be held tomorrow at 11 am in room 209. Please come to the front door of the school by 10:55 to be let in. Testing will begin promptly at 11 am and should conclude by 2:15 pm. 
Please send Ms. P an email if you intend to come so she may make arrangements for all interested parties. 

Homework 4/28

APE:  Read chapter thirteen of Jane Eyre. AP Test is in 5 days! An AP Practice test will be held on April 30th at 11 am. Please arrive by 10:55 am to be let in, and email Miss P to let her know you will be attending.

English 10:  Missed tests need to be made up by Thursday, May 4th. Tests not made up by 2:35 pm on May 4th will receive zeros. Complete the summaries of the Collection 5 stories. Write 3-5 sentences per story answering the question “Which is most dangerous–ignorance, knowledge, or power.” These summaries on due on Monday, May 1st at the beginning of class.

English 10:  Missed tests need to be made up by Thursday, May 4th. Tests not made up by 2:35 pm on May 4th will receive zeros.

English 10: If you have not read “The Macbeth Murder Mystery” on page 301 in your textbook, you need to do so. Unit 5 test will be Wednesday or later of next week.

1st hour: Complete the TPFASTT sheet over the poem “5 pm Tuesday August 23, 2005”

6th & 7th hour: Do questions 1-5 on page 308 under “Critical Vocabulary.” Copy the chart at the bottom of the page (Word/Root) and add a column for meaning.  Look up the meaning of the four Latin roots.

5th hour: Answer the Multiple Choice questions from the poetry reading from yesterday. You must include a written rationale on lined paper.

English 10: If you have not read “The Macbeth Murder Mystery” on page 301 in your textbook, you need to do so. Answer the questions in the blue boxes on page 306. Unit 5 test will be Wednesday or later of next week.
